Technical surf hat combining style with performance. Our Visor Surf Hat has an extra wide brim so your face is super shaded. The open crown allows for more breeze and let's you be creative with your hair style. No sun protection on the crown of the head. Suitable for all water sports.

Please note: due to the open crown, the visor can slide down into your face in bigger surf, but it should never come off. We recommend using it in smaller surf only.

It did not fit. I am a 5'6" female with a bigger than average head, I suppose. It was way too tight. I couldn't even keep it on for a short time.

Worked very well, was just the right size for my head. My cousin had ordered one as well that she gave away since she said she felt it was too small for her head (she prefers the normal Kaiola surf hat, which she loves), but this fit me perfectly. Stayed on no matter what happened in the water. I ordered a normal Kaiola surf hat as well, which also fits great. I am keeping that one to wear a bump cap underneath so that I have some protection from getting conked in the head from a board in larger waves. The bump cap that I put on the underside of the Kaiola hat works perfectly under the hat.

Hands down the best surf hat I’ve ever tried! I finally found a surf hat that does not affect my ability to surf. Most hats get in the way of my vision, but this hat allows me to see when paddling for a wave (when other hats cover my face and eyes and block my vision when I’m looking down). I love this hat and wish I bought it sooner! I have only used it longboarding, but it seems tight enough to shortboard with too in smaller waves as described in the product description (it says not to wear in waves over 5 feet). Anyway, definitely BUY ONE!!!! You won’t regret it!

I purchased the surfing visor and the surfing hat. Absolutely love them both while surfing in Costa Rica. I wear the visor every day around town, riding my bicycle, etc. etc. I love it!!! it is lightweight and wide brim keep the sun off my face… and if the wind happens to kick up, I can strap it in, and it keeps it from blowing off my head. I can’t say enough I would highly recommend this to everyone!!!

Spent two weeks surfing. Did not get compliments for my surfing skills, but multiple for my hat. It is how it is ;) In some stronger waves the visor sometimes gets pushed down a little into the face, but it was manageable. Used it mainly in softer conditions to protect from the sun, which worked very well. Really love the look and feel and the thorough design.
